HOUSE OF HOLLAND Signs With DARK STAR RECORDS

Dark Star Records has announced the signing of HOUSE OF HOLLAND, the hard rock "supergroup" led by former STEPPENWOLF frontman Tommy Holland. Completed by Vernon Voss (guitar),Eddie Morris (bass) and Bobby Fields (drums),the band is currently in the studio recording its first CD for a fall release.

Holland landed the job as frontman/lead singer for STEPPENWOLF in his early career after John Kay left the band. Tommy then formed HOLLAND out of Chicago in 1984. In 1985 Tommy signed with Atlantic Records and released "Little Monsters" with such hits as "Wake up the Neighborhood" and "Gotta Run".

The members of HOUSE OF HOLLAND have collectively performed with AEROSMITH, WARRANT, JOURNEY, JEFFERSON STARSHIP, OVERKILL, DANGEROUS TOYS, SAVATAGE and others.

HOUSE OF HOLLAND will perform on January 31 with DISONIC at Tailgaters in Bolingbrook, Illinois. The band will also play at the Dark Star Records Winter Fest 2009 with SUPERMERCADO on February 21 at Boondocks in West Chicago, Illinois.
